Since launch in 2006 from our garage, ITD has been successful in sourcing top brands in bulk enabling us to bring them to you at amazing low prices. ITD's mission is to supply ALL IT products at less than retail prices in New Zealand while maintaining an outstanding level of customer service. We rely on our customer focused service as our main form of marketing and are fortunate to be experiencing strong year on year growth.
How did it all start?
We'll as a Uni student I needed to buy a cable for my laptop urgently. After paying $49 for the cable at a local retailer, I felt I was just paying too much and I'm sure this cable isn't worth this much. So I started searching for suppliers and found the cable had a wholesale cost of $9. Straight away I realized there was an opportunity to provide these products at a cheaper rate. I was in business school at the time and understood the importance of a well structured business model and the important of great customer service. Most of our business is from word of mouth referrals (Thank you!).

Who is ITD.co.nz?
We are a team of young Kiwi Entrepreneurs, educated at Auckland University of Technology (www.AUT.ac.nz) with the shared vision of our own business. We have a passion for gadgets & gizmos but don't like paying retail prices. We surveyed our friends and students and noticed a common pattern, not very many people liked paying retail prices. We then formed the company in late 2006, and started providing a channel to fellow Kiwi's whereby they could source products at the cheapest possible prices. We can offer AMAZING prices due to our low cost business model. We have an outstanding customer service record and value your business, which can be seen on our TradeMe store, member username "itdirect".

Free Shipping?
ITD offers FREE Shipping to Students & Seniors. Please place your order online as usual. Free shipping only applies to orders over $100. Once you have paid for your order, email us a scanned copy of your valid Student or Seniors ID card for a rebate on the shipping charge. Please note orders must be in your own name & claim must be made within 24 hours of your order being placed. Bulk freight & bulk quantity orders are excluded from this special deal.
